WRAC Meeting: Aug 19, 2020

Hi everyone,

Below please see the WRAC August Agenda, draft July minutes and meeting links and documents.

This month, we will convene our usual business meeting at 9:15am, at which time our guest speaker for the month, Mayor Eric Garcetti will join us, until 10am. From 10am until 11:30 – which has been our usual course – we will attend to the rest of our agenda and our internal business including draft platform language, draft bylaws amendments and a new discussion on standing rules prompted by recent events. In the afternoon, we will host a second supplemental meeting – this time with LA County Public Health Director, Dr. Barbara Ferrer, who will speak to us about COVID-19 and the state of the pandemic as it unfolds across LA. We are pleased to host Dr. Ferrer and have asked all member councils to invite a handful of their respective board members to join the meeting. We have set a limit of 100 attendees.
